The correlation between fuel pressure and injector sizing is one of the most common mistakes in conversions. GM used 3 different fuel pressures for the 350 TPI from 40 in 85, 43 in 86, and 87, and in midyear 88 they went to 47. All years used 22 as the injector flow rate in the programming.

For simplicity of the swap, I wanna use a 350 TBI engine. I have read that the TBI heads suck for flow, so i'm considering putting 350 TPI heads on a TBI motor. Has anyone ever done this? How much better are TPI heads over TBI heads? And most importantly, will TPI heads work with a TBI intake?

The stock TPI runners increase velocity of the incoming and boost low & mid-range torque. They do a great job of this and make the cars a blast in a daily driver. (Makes good power in the rpm range that most people see on their daily commute.) They do become a limiting factor on rpms though.
