The cord that came with the dryer is only 5 ft long, and since I need to stack the dryer on top of the washer (they won't fit next to each other) and my outlet is on the floor about three feet to the left of the bottom left of the washer, it is too short. I have bought a new dryer and the length of the cord is a bout a foot shy from the recepticle. Since the cord is the standard 220v and I can't seem to find any kind of extension cords for this type of voltage do they make cords longer than the 5 or 6 foot range that most hardware stores stock.
