The focus of the research for this research is to carry out detailed analyses on abandoned granite quarries using Strabag quarry at Adebayi area, Ibadan, Oyo State and RCC quarry at Wasinmi, Ikire, Osun State as case studies to determine the environmental effe cts and necessary technical solutions of the abandoned quarries.
